Life below water is so important! It is said we know more about the stars and planets above than the oceans below. But the reality is, we have more living things below than we have above unless we believe there are some unknown and unseen species somewhere out there in the wild. It is reported that the ocean contains nearly 200,000 identified species, and an estimated 91% of unclassified ocean species are still being worked on by ocean scientists. Sadly, around 40% of the ocean is heavily consumed and badly affected by pollution, depleted fisheries, loss of coastal habitats, and other human activities. If we think our only priority is on the land we inhabit, think again! Everything we do on land affects life underwater. Let's start with "how"?
